Phoebe Waller-Bridge Takes Over My DVR

That last post was VERY depressing. How about a post celebrating a brilliant, extraordinarily talented woman, and how her two TV series are coming to regular-type American TV?

Season 1 of Killing Eve, starring Sandra Oh (speaking of brilliant and talented), with a screenplay by Phoebe Waller-Bridge will be broadcast by BBC America in toto (8 episodes) on Dec. 22, starting at 10 pm.

Meanwhile, IFC will broadcast all six episodes of Season 1 of Waller-Bridge's own acclaimed star turn, Fleabag, starting at 11 pm on Dec. 26th.

My DVR is set!

Killing Eve is really good. Does have some plot holes here and there, but other than that -- it's great fun.

I tried Fleabag and couldn't get into it -- but I think you'll love it. It's a lot like Better Things and Louis CK in tone.
