Enforced Absence

As you may have heard, Borough Park in Brooklyn had a spike of Corona virus cases. My branch is right in the middle of that neighborhood.

So, as of 4 pm today, the branch is closed until further notice. I am on standby for service in other branches; otherwise, I am temporarily out of work.

Family Nightmare

I can't believe this...

On Saturday, my ex-brother-in-law and his new wife decided to host a party. My nephew, my pregnant niece and her husband (and his parents) all attended.

The result:

My ex-brother-in-law and his new wife have the corona virus.

My niece's husband and his parents are sick. (They're being tested.)

My niece is in self isolation.

My nephew is in self isolation. My sister, who didn't attend this horror of a soiree, is trapped in the house with him.

This is... a nightmare.
