I can't believe this...

On Saturday, my ex-brother-in-law and his new wife decided to host a party. My nephew, my pregnant niece and her husband (and his parents) all attended.

The result:

My ex-brother-in-law and his new wife have the corona virus.

My niece's husband and his parents are sick. (They're being tested.)

My niece is in self isolation.

My nephew is in self isolation. My sister, who didn't attend this horror of a soiree, is trapped in the house with him.

This is... a nightmare.

Oh God. I'm so sorry.

My Aunt told me the symptoms. So, here's the deal - if it turns around on the eighth day, and they recover - all clear.

Also, if they can hold their breath for up to 50 seconds, it's okay, if you can't do it for more than 10, then need oxygen.

My Uncle (who is 78) did something similarly stupid. An older priest who is in his 80s decided to ignore the arch dioceses directive and did all sorts of socializing, and giving masses, etc. And then came down with what appeared to be a bad case of pneumonia and died. (It was the Corona Virus). Before he did - he infected all the priests including my uncle at their retirement facility. My uncle is the youngest and has heart arthrymthia. My uncle touched him when he died, as did others. They are all self-isolating now.

My Aunt tried to get him my Uncle to stay in South Dakota, but no, he came back to Florida and exposed himself to the sick priest.

Meanwhile kids are partying on Spring Break where she is.
