No, seriously--I'm on the water!
We are out in the middle of the bay for my son's first outing as a boy scout--a fishing trip. I have as much experience fishing as I do running a cyclotron, so I've left the fishing tips to the experienced crew of the Marilyn Jean IV, and I'll just sit back and watch the action.
(I am a bit nervous about this trip. Even though all the kids are wearing masks, and each fisherman has his or her own space, I wish I could just relax and not have to worry about viruses.)
Well, we're relocated to a position further out on the bay. D. hasn't caught anything yet, but we've still got a few hours to go....
4:30 p.m: He caught one!! Looks halibut-y. (It's called a porgie, an east coast perennial.) I'm almost more excited than he is...
7:30 p.m.: My wife seasoned the porgie with a little lemon and pepper and we loved it. Deeeelicious.
